My 1965 Omega
I've had this watch for a number of years. It was a gift and has great sentimental value to me. The 562 movement is one of my favorites because of its particular take on the quickset date feature.
So, do you think it's completely authentic? I wonder about a few things ..
The crown is omega branded but looks small compared to a few similar examples online. In addition, the gold markers are very uncommon. The silver face is beautiful but does have a small amount of freckling which is good. The swiss lettering at the bottom is difficult to see. I was told that it could be because when the crystal was replaced that an incorrect, smaller one was used and it slightly "truncated" the face slightly all around.
