Hernia causing urinary issues, not OAB

I had a inguinal hernia on my right side for about 3 years. I didn’t want to get it fixed because I was poor. After about a year, I started noticing mild urinary issues. My stream would stop at about 70%-80% empty. I’d stand there for another minute and the rest would come out.

As time went on and my hernia only got worse, so did my urinary issues. I felt like I almost constantly had to pee, waking up in the middle of the night to pee, peeing 15-20 times a day, hardly any urine would come out, weak stream, dribbling.

I went to a urologist and he said the hernia was putting pressure on my bladder so I went and got surgery last November. The surgery went fine and it’s like it never happened, except my urinary issues.

I saw another urologist and she said it was probably OAB. I explained the hernia situation and it did not resonate with her and she said to just try Gemtesa.

The Gemtesa has not been helping at all. I still have all the urniary issues as before. Frequent urination, waking up to pee, weak stream etc.

Does anyone have any idea of what could be going on? My intuition says something about the hernia messed something up and caused this. Is there any nuance with urinary issues and inguinal hernias?
