How do I escape my toxic friend group?
Hello, I'm very new to reddit and this is in fact a burner account because I plan on deleting it once I'm finished with my main exams, so apologies if this isn't like regular posts.
So basically I'm in a terrible friend group I shouldn't have even joined and have been in for a few years now but I was young and didn't know much back then but now I am essentially trapped and its started to stress me out and make me struggle with my revision which I have been keeping with since about early june time.
So this group is the typical nerd group but not one of the nice ones its one of the ones where people in it are still really immature and also toxic to certain people in the group so as banter, you'll find it's just me being bashed into walls in the corridor as an example and I'm honestly fed up of it I'm sick of childish people and I just want to focus on my exams.
The problem I have is basically I just get followed by them everywhere I go when I'd rather just be on my own, online its fine because I have just become very innactive in whatsapp groups and no one really cares that much but in school theres nothing I can do to avoid this group so what should I do 😭
If anyone has any advice or been in the same sort of situation, how do I escape.
