Hey everyone,

I’m 18, and like many of us at this age, I recently had a bit of an "identity crisis" realizing how much I rely on my parents for literally everything. It’s a comfortable bubble, but it felt... limiting.

While thinking about this, I spoke to my house help and learned about the reality many women in her community face. Most of them deal with immense pressure at home and have zero financial independence, relying entirely on troubled circumstances just to get by. It hit me that we were on the same pedestal all of us dependent on someone else, just in very different ways.

I found a group of these incredible women who make beautiful, handmade boxes and diaries. They have the skill, but no way to reach a market.

With whatever resources I had, I’ve built a basic website to sell their work. These aren't just "products" they are pieces of their hard work and my attempt to start contributing to the world rather than just consuming.

As teenagers/young adults, we keep saying we are the future of India. I want to start that future today by supporting these "didis" and aunties who deserve a chance at their own income.

I’m not looking for charity, but if you’re looking for a gift or a new diary, please check us out. Your support would mean the world to me and, more importantly, to the women making these.
