If I want a remote or self-employed job where I get to stay home what should I major in? I am currently trying to get my general ed completed right now in community college. I want something A.I resistant as well. Willing to get a bachelor's or even a master's if I have to. Working from home is the most ideal for my situation but hybrid work will be acceptable as well. I am aware that maybe entry level jobs require you to be in the office at first. Thinking of josb along the line of Cyber security practioner, business admin, computer system analyst, interpreter. Open to other ideas as well like on etsy or an at home bakery. But unsure of what is the best thing to choose.

What is gonna happen to my mom?

I love my mom and I care about her. My parents married in The Phillipines. My mom is filippino and my dad was born in the US. Growing up all my life my mom refused to get a job unless my dad helped her become an American Citizen. He refused. 15 years later they separated. 4 years from today her marriage green card will expire. She is facing an unstable living situation with threats of being kicked out. She doesn't provide financially. She is 51 years old. She has never worked the 3 decades she has been in The States. She wants a divorce but can't afford the legal proceedings or the fee to file for a divorce. I'm in my late teens working and living on my own. I can't financially help her. I told her to find an immigration divorce lawyer that could take her case probono. My dad has several different streams of income.

Location: They reside in California.

Taxes: My mom has never done any taxes unless my dad does it jointly. My dad has been arrested for tax fraud in the past but I don't know any info on that. My mom claims the reason why she needs my dad's help getting the American Citizenship is because she needs their tax information and she has no access to that.

My mom is also now saying that she wants a divorce because immigration will question her about it.

UPDATE: She intentionally became pregnant twice. One because my dad suggested she get a job and two because a family member suggested she should go to college to improve her English. WTF. I'm heartbroken for my father.
