I think everyone had different experiences (depending on your area) of getting permission to engage in other activities on the humanities visa.
Last month, I went to the immigration office to request for permission to engage in other activities. But I was told that I need to have a contract in hand when applying.
I got hired at a roasters cafe and they were nice enough to give me a contract and wait for me to get the permission before starting to work. How likely it is that I will be granted permission?
