FINALLY MET MY ONLINE FRIEND!!! 💃
Soo I met this person through this subreddit. One random day I found his post and decided to DM him directly. At first our conversations were kinda awkward, but soon we shifted to Discord and started talking almost every day. We used to talk for hours without realizing how much time had passed.
Since we live in the same city, one day we finally decided to hang out. We picked a spot to meet and I reached like 10 minutes early, just randomly roaming around waiting for him. Then I finally saw him from far away and waved at him.
Tbh I suddenly got nervous thinking about how it would go meeting an online friend IRL, but honestly he felt exactly the same as he did online. It felt like we had known each other for years.
We had a lot of fun, talked nonstop, and walked around even in 34°C heat. We ended up walking almost 8 km 😭 My legs were hurting when I got home but it was completely worth it.
I never imagined I would actually get the chance to meet someone I met online. Truly a wonderful experience.
