32bit float hate post

Why does 32bit float actually exist? 24bit PCM is more than enough for any use case. In what scenario would you need 1500dB of dynamic range???? 32bit float just makes the files bigger and harder to work with, and converting to 24 or 16 bit PCM (which youll eventually need to do) inevitably cause quantization (I know its practically imperceptible, but it bothers me knowing that it happens lol)
