Would you take this Vacation in my shoes?
I am planning a trip to Spain with my girlfriend we both live in Florida.
I used to be terrible with debt and credit cards, I used this subreddit and others to help me grow and build stability for myself. Here are some factors for my question.
I have 20 thousand dollars saved in a money market earning me interest
My expenses are
$1000 in rent including all other bills around the house
$300 car note
$100 in insurance
$150 plus in anything else I might not be factoring.
Zero debt in credit cards or loans.
I don’t make the most I make about 60k after taxes most of my income is cash as I am a valet attendant (no taxes)
Would it be smart to take my girlfriend on a trip to Spain for 10 days & I’m asking others opinions if they would take this trip if they were in my shoes right now.
I was considering buying the tickets on my discover and paying them off over time it would be my only debt that I have just so u don’t dip into my savings $3000. Anyways appreciate the opinions
