1st trimester and working in ABA

Hello everyone!

I'm around 7 weeks pregnant and going into week 8, and this first trimester has really taken a toll on me. I am an RBT and mostly provide home-based sessions, seeing 3 clients a day, 5 days a week.
This past week has been especially rough. I feel bad because I have been calling out more often due to nausea and extreme fatigue. I informed my clinical director about my pregnancy, and they have been very helpful and supportive. We created a plan about two weeks ago, but I feel like it may need to be adjusted.

For those of you who have provided in-home services, you know that parents are often doing everyday activities like cooking or cleaning, which is completely understandable. However, lately I've been getting nauseous as soon as I arrive at some of my clients' homes because of certain smells, and I know that's not something I can control.

Has anyone else worked through the first trimester as an RBT or in a similar field? How did you manage the nausea, fatigue, and sensory triggers while continuing to work?
