How serious is this?
I (27) have gotten the other wisdom tooth removed. At that time the surgeon said this one needs to extracted with hospital stay and full sedation,(mainly because I won't be able to keep my mouth open for that long)
Now when I reached out to the clinic, they said the doctor can do it in the clinic (with about twice the charge, 'cause it is complex), hospital stay or full sedation not needed. When pressed they are quoting insane prices for hospital stays. I am not going to pay that kind of money. But I'm also terrified. Is it sitting too close to the nerve?
Is their any other medical imaging that can be used to understand how imbedded this one is?
Was the surgeon, fresh out of the surgery, just frustrated with my small mouth and thus said something like that?
