How do I get my dog out of the pond when he’s swimming?
Alright everybody. My 2 year old black lab loves to swim, like pretty much any lab. I mean he LOVES it. He swims in circles and will do it for hours if you let him. Getting out for the occasional pee or to jump in. Luckily, I have lots of acreage and some nice ponds for him to swim in. Also have an in ground pool as well. He’s an awesome dog and the light of my life, the problem is I cannot get him out of the water once he’s in 😂. If I’m lucky I can lure him out with a frisbee or a stick but doesn’t always work, he’s smart and has learned my tricks. He’s a great dog and generally listens well. When he was just a pup he would retrieve no problems then all of a sudden he just started swimming in circles. Anyone have some recommendations on how I can get him out of the water in a timely manner? Im all ears!
