Behavior Frontiers made me wait weeks with no communication, just to fire me.
They received my background check on May 11th and by then I completed all of my paperwork and was under the impression that I would begin training on May 25th. The week of May 25th came, and even though I called, sent multiple emails, and texted the onboarding specialist I was assigned to with no response until that Friday the 29th. She said they were working on my background check paperwork and then I’d be able to start. I have a misdemeanor for drug paraphernalia from when I was 18 years old fresh out of high school, it was for a weed grinder. I was never arrested just ticketed, but it’s still on my record. They said my employment offer was withdrawn June 3rd at MIDNIGHT for that reason. I’m now about to be 23 and a double major in psychology and non-profit management with a good GPA, and have done nothing but improve my life. I tried sending an email to appeal it and provide evidence of rehabilitation, no response. I tried calling, no response. I tried texting the appeal to the onboarding specialist, no response. I should have listened when I read how much this company sucks. Will I ever be able to be an RBT with this charge from 5 years ago on my record?
