Data Analytics to Medical Research

Hello! I am an adult data analytics (BSDA) student. I’m looking for more information about what could be next for me in order to bridge my education. I’m in my current program due to accessibility needs but in the future for a masters or PhD would be open to in person or online. Long term I’d love to be assisting the research efforts into complex chronic health conditions. Specifically Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome wherever possible. Currently finishing a Bachelor's in Data Analytics, where I am building a foundation in statistics, SQL, data modeling, and programming (Python/R).
However, my ultimate career goal is to transition into advanced scientific research. What are the best bridging steps, foundational science prerequisites, or post-bacc strategies I should focus on to make my profile competitive for scientific graduate programs?

(specifically computational tracks). What are the best bridging steps, foundational science prerequisites, or post-bacc strategies I should focus on to make my profile competitive for scientific graduate programs?
