What is the horrible pain that comes and goes by the bellybutton?

I'm new, recently got my Jtube and still in the hospital. They are making me take different medications via tube and it's causing horrible pain. Today they made me take liquid tylenol and ive had nothing but pain since. It comes and goes but it is centered around my bellybutton.. what is that? Will it stop if I just keep trying? I need to get out of this hospital but I cant until I take what meds they require and get my feeds up too.

I got them to drop the tylenol as a necessary med but am not looking forward to trying the others if it's anything like this.

Just got my J tube and having vomiting issues

Hello, I'm brand new... Just got my J tube placed 8 days ago and am still in the hospital. My continuous feed is currently running at 10ml per hour because I keep vomiting up formula... they wont discharge me until I can take 45ml an hour so I'm feeling very stuck.

They tried an NJ tube first which I tolerated fine at higher feed rates, but now that the actual j tube is in instead i cant tolerate anything. I also have consistent diarrhea.

Is this normal? I feel like im so behind but I cant stop getting sick. Has anyone else experienced this in the beginning?

Thank you

Just an update,

They checked my previous scans and found that my swelling was so bad that it probably caused a temporary blockage. I'm feeling much better today, i let them put my feeds back up to 20ml and they put me on a liquid diet, both are going very well! I'm feeling better today than I have in a long time and hoping that means I can go home soon. It's week 3 of being in the hospital so I am so ready, but I felt like id be stuck here forever.

Thank you all for your input, it is much appreciated!
