I am writing to this community because I am trying to solve a real issue that many of us face every day, especially with the cost of living skyrocketing.
Right now, if you are a Muslim living in or visiting Western Europe, finding a fast, high-quality burger is incredibly tough. Major fast-food chains aren't Halal, and the independent restaurants that do serve premium Halal gourmet burgers charge premium prices. With everyone struggling to pay their bills, eating out shouldn't feel like a luxury just because you choose to eat Halal.
I’ve been working on the line as a professional kitchen assistant, learning how commercial kitchens operate from the inside out. My dream is to launch an independent burger restaurant focused entirely on serving top-tier, premium gourmet burgers that are 100% Halal, but at a price that everyday families and students can actually afford. I have fully built out the concept, menu presentation styles, and a solid financial model to keep operating costs low so I can pass those savings on to the customers. However, securing a commercial space and basic kitchen equipment requires startup capital that is impossible to save on a line cook's wage alone.
