Hi all,

I was thinking of going on a solo trip to Zürich, but I'm not really sure yet. Last year I went to Vienna which I loved, this time I was thinking of Switzerland to combine a city exploration and a bit of nature.

Now I just happened to read a thread in a different subreddit about how Zürich isn't that fun for city exploration. I was planning on going one week, half for the city and half for small hikes My sister went to Luzern once and she took incredible pictures.

So I was wondering is Zürich worth it for a whole week, or just as a central point for visiting other cities? Or would it be better to try and make some kind of roadtrip of it by using the train?
