
Lost ~21% of my body weight over 2 years. Current BMI: 22
Started at the beginning of May 2024.
The graph is based on periodic weigh-ins over time.
Timeline was roughly:
Apr 2024 – Oct 2024:
Mostly swimming daily with one day-off per week.
Nov 2024 – April 2025:
Pool closed so I switched to treadmill + elliptical. Most of the faster loss happened during this period. Towards the end I reduced the frequency and intensity but didn’t eat any less so the weight loss plateaued here.
May 2025 – July 2025:
Stopped doing regular cardio but didn’t really adjust how I was eating, so my weight started trending back upward.
Aug 2025 – now:
Focused more on food habits. Biggest change was eating mostly food I made myself unless I forgot to pack lunch or was already out somewhere.
No specific diet plan. Just gradual changes over a long period and trying to stay reasonably consistent.
Included the regain periods because they were part of the process too.
