Sorry this question has probably been asked in various ways before but I couldn’t find one that fit my specific situation exactly.
I’ve had a tooth removed ready for an implant in August which is an appointment I cannot move as I am doing the surgery in a different country. The tooth removed is my upper premolar (2nd premolar) which shows up slightly in my smile line.
I want to get Invisalign mostly for my lower teeth which have some crowding and the teeth are not aligned in the best way. I will probably need 6 months of Invisalign and I’m trying to figure out what order I should do these things.
I could start Invisalign now, it will be about 3 months before the implant surgery (this I’m assuming would be very complicated) and the placement of the temporary crown
I should get the implant with the temporary crown and then soon after do Invisalign, finish the course and then add permanent crown 6 months down the line
same as above but skip the temporary crown
complete implant and placement of permanent crown and then do Invisalign (might affect the success of my Invisalign).
I will ask my dentist too but would love to have some insight if anyone has had similar experience
