Sorry this question has probably been asked in various ways before but I couldn’t find one that fit my specific situation exactly.

I’ve had a tooth removed ready for an implant in August which is an appointment I cannot move as I am doing the surgery in a different country. The tooth removed is my upper premolar (2nd premolar) which shows up slightly in my smile line.

I want to get Invisalign mostly for my lower teeth which have some crowding and the teeth are not aligned in the best way. I will probably need 6 months of Invisalign and I’m trying to figure out what order I should do these things.

  1. I could start Invisalign now, it will be about 3 months before the implant surgery (this I’m assuming would be very complicated) and the placement of the temporary crown

  2. I should get the implant with the temporary crown and then soon after do Invisalign, finish the course and then add permanent crown 6 months down the line

  3. same as above but skip the temporary crown

  4. complete implant and placement of permanent crown and then do Invisalign (might affect the success of my Invisalign).

I will ask my dentist too but would love to have some insight if anyone has had similar experience
