Has anyone attended the Grande Braderie d'Amiens in bad weather (rain)? What was your experience like?

Hi everyone! I'm planning to check out the Grande Braderie d'Amiens, but I'm keeping an eye on the weather forecast and I'm a bit worried about rain.

Has anyone here braved the event during a rainy edition? How does the bad weather affect the atmosphere, the number of vendors, and the overall treasure hunt? Are people still out in full force, or does it turn into a ghost town? Any tips or survival advice for a rainy Braderie would be greatly appreciated!

Does rain ruin hunting for paper collectibles and old books from private sellers (particuliers) at La Grande Réderie d'Amiens?

Hi! I’m heading to La Grande Réderie d'Amiens specifically to hunt for old books, prints, and paper ephemera from private local sellers (particuliers) looking for good, budget-friendly deals. If it rains, how do these casual sellers usually handle their stalls? Do they pack up immediately, and is it still worth going? Thanks for any insights!

Still on Windows 10 (bought the 1-year extension). Is it worth upgrading to Windows 11 in 2026?

Hello everyone!

I am a home user and I'm not very tech-savvy when it comes to operating systems. I'm still sticking with Windows 10 and I even bought that one-year support extension to buy myself a bit more time.

My PC was very powerful 5 years ago and still runs great right now, but it doesn't meet two security requirements for Windows 11 (I know one is related to UEFI/Secure Boot, and the other I think is TPM, though honestly I can't remember the exact details right now).

Beyond these official hardware limitations, I remember that at one point people talked a lot about all sorts of bugs, performance drops, and annoying issues on Windows 11.

My question for those of you who use it every day:

How does Windows 11 look and perform right now? Have most of the past problems and bugs disappeared, making it a truly mature and stable system, or are there still headaches?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Is Pairi Daiza truly an extraordinary, world-class destination, or is it just a massive, overhyped zoo?

I’m not asking from a budget or cost perspective, but strictly about the experience itself—the authentic architecture, the recreated global ecosystems, and the overall atmosphere. Is it truly fascinating and awe-inspiring, or simply a very large zoo with good marketing?

I am a mature solo traveler and nature lover considering a full-day visit. For those of you who have been there: on a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate it, and is it genuinely worth traveling for?

Thank you!
