I feel like I have a decent idea in the food industry all planned out, but it’s like how do you get a pre-seed investor in Western Canada? I’m thinking of going to some food industry events.

I listed it on AngelList, but realistically who’s going to invest in a pre-seed company when they’ve never met the founder in person? Probably no one. Does anyone have any suggestions for good events in the area I could attend?
