Hi all
I’m currently leading the Software Architecture Community of Practice (CoP) at my company, and we are planning an Architecture Kata session for about 5-6 internal teams.
We’ve found that internal sessions can sometimes become an echo chamber, so we are looking for 1-2 external Senior or Staff Architects to act as "Moderators" for a remote session.
The Role: The "Customer": Field questions from the teams during the discovery phase (clarifying vague requirements). The Evaluator: Review the final arc42 document with
C4 diagrams/proposals and provide constructive, high-level feedback. The Facilitator: Help guide the "why" behind their decisions, specifically around trade-offs and "ilities
Duration: Approx. 2–3 hours per day for 2 days (Remote). Format: We are flexible (can use a classic Neal Ford kata or a custom one).
If you have experience facilitating these or just spend your days arguing about distributed systems and want to help mentor some sharp teams, please shoot me a DM or comment below!
I can share more details once I see some interest
