Just wondering has anyone done the social work apprenticeship with either TUSLA or the HSE before and what their experiences were (or anyone who’s working as a social worker in either)?
I’m meant to start a social worker apprenticeship with TUSLA in June but I just got an interview for the HSE next week and I’m not sure which would be better if I did get the HSE one?
The HSE took 3 months to offer me the interview (applied back in Feb) so by the time I do the interview, pass hopefully, get out on the panel, if I’m high enough and get offered a place and accept it and do all the pre employment stuff, I’d be just about starting with TUSLA anyway
I’ll be working with a Children in Care team but if anyone has any experience working as a social worker I’d love to hear from you too!
