Has anyone gone through an academic standing / probation review after receiving multiple failing grades in a semester? For people who have gone through this or advised students through it. Did things like untreated ADHD, delayed accommodations, illness, family/home instability, or poor help-seeking matter?

For context, I go to a U.S. t20 school and am majoring in a stem field. I got good grades freshman year, less good grades sophomore fall, and failed two courses this sem (+ a B and 2 As). I know every school is different, but I’d really appreciate some perpsective on what might happen next. Thank you!!
