Yesterday Isreal bought a congressional seat in Kentucky for 15 million. Abigail Spanberger vetoed collective bargaining for public sector workers. It leaves me wondering, who is fighting for us? Here's a clue, it isn't corporate democrats! In the primary we have a chance to put forth a fighter for working people in VA's first congressional district so let's elect Salaam Bhatti for Congress to be our champion! Let's talk politics!

Explaining the Oath of Obligation into the IBEW!

With the IBEW expanding its membership base so quickly I think it is important to go over the oath we all swear to uphold during our admission into membership process.

Young IBEW members it is imperative that you understand what it is you are swearing to protect and fight for!

Old IBEW members i hope this serves as a reminder to you of your obligation.

So you want to organize a General Strike. It's an honest sentiment for millions. Everyday people understand quite well the corruption of the system that governs our lives. They're sick of it. Literally!

When it comes to a not so radical pathway to a real seismic impact the general strike is the most effective tool that can be used.

Its a magical relic, infused with a mystic aura that harkens back to an industrial age that saw striking workers threatening the very levers of power. Though times have changed the challenges remain.

So what are the challenges? Let's talk about it.
