Tối 5/6, một vụ hỏa hoạn lớn đã xảy ra tại quận Naka, thành phố Nagoya (tỉnh Aichi, Nhật Bản), thiêu rụi một tòa nhà 4 tầng nằm trong khu vực tập trung nhiều nhà hàng và quán ăn sầm uất nhất.

Theo thông tin từ lực lượng cứu hỏa, vào khoảng 19 giờ 30 phút, cơ quan chức năng nhận được tin báo về việc khói bốc lên từ một cửa hàng tại khu vực 1-chome, quận Naka. Ngọn lửa sau đó nhanh chóng lan rộng, kèm theo cột khói đen dày đặc bao trùm toàn bộ tòa nhà, khiến nhiều người dân xung quanh hoảng hốt.

Lực lượng cứu hỏa đã điều động 18 xe chuyên dụng cùng đông đảo nhân viên đến hiện trường để khống chế đám cháy. Khu vực xảy ra hỏa hoạn nằm cách ga Shinsakae-machi khoảng 500 m về phía tây nam và thường xuyên có đông thực khách lui tới.
