[Jacob] There is a growing belief now, with reporting that the investigation is in fact over and the league is sifting through its findings, that the main delay will now stem from trying to find a punishment Ballmer will accept.

Worst case scenario the deal falls apart, what happens with BI3? Depending on how hurt he is, he may ask out. Mods already removed the BI flair too lol

My theory is Uncle Dennis is set up to take the fall, with Kawhi having "no knowledge" of the deals happening

It took Kawhi Leonard 3 years to win his first ring, his second 5 years later, it is now 7 years later and the law of patterns is in effect.

Does Kawhi returning change peoples mind on retiring his jersey?

I used to be one of the people who argued that Kawhi shouldn’t have his jersey retired by the Raptors because he was basically a one and done, wham bam thank you ma’am situation.

But with his return, I’ll admit it has opened me up to being okay with a Kawhi jersey retirement when it’s all said and done.

I truly believe he came back because he wanted to build a lasting legacy with a team. He burned his bridge with the Spurs, he didn’t do enough with the Clippers, and realistically, his last real chance at that kind of legacy was with the Raptors.

I don’t believe he came back because of the aspiration stuff either. Let’s be real, if he had to be extradited from Canada to serve a sentence, we wouldn’t exactly be putting a stop to it. To me, it feels more like he wanted to get his jersey retired somewhere, and Toronto was his best shot.

So that brings me back to the main question: Does Kawhi returning change peoples mind on retiring his jersey?

[Koreen] While the San Antonio Spurs remain on the list of teams Kawhi would sign a contract extension with, there doesn’t seem to be much interest from the Spurs side. The Raptors remain the frontrunners to land him

So its basically just us, leaving Clippers with no real leverage.

[Stein] The Bucks have reportedly received trade interest for Myles Turner, however aren’t actively engaged in shipping him out of Milwaukee currently.

In a confusing update the Bucks want to hold on to Myles?
