After trying to install Sequoia, I am now testing it on the Tahoe build on an MSI A520M A Pro device.

For this instance, the OpenCore EFI configuration was successfully applied to the Hackintosh Tahoe 26.2.

The only issue encountered is that internal audio does not work, however, HDMI audio can be used for external sound output. Audio input is also non-functional.

Hardware I am using:

- Motherboard: MSI A520M A Pro

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G

- GPU: ASRock Phantom Gaming AMD Radeon RX 570 (4GB VRAM)

- RAM: 2x 16GB TeamGroup DDR4 3200 MHz - LAN: Realtek RTL8111

- Wi-Fi: Broadcom BCM94360CS2

- Audio: Realtek ALC892/ALC897 (not working)

I used the Windows 10 operating system to create the OpenCore EFI configuration.

The tools I used for this process include:

  1. ProperTree (requires Python)

  2. GenSMBIOS (requires Python)

  3. HardwareSniffer.exe (to retrieve hardware information)

  4. Notepad++

  5. TransMac

  6. Explorer++

  7. MiniTool Partition Wizard

Additional setting: AMD_Vanilla Patch.

I did not download an ISO image; instead, I used the USB installer I had previously created and converted it into an ISO image with a .dmg extension.

Therefore, I used TransMac to copy the image to the USB drive.

kext. that I use :

- Lilu.kext

- AirPortBrcmFixup.kext

- IOSkywalkFamily.kext

- IO80211FamiltLegacy.kext

- AMFIPass.kext

- VirtualSMC.kext

- WhateverGreen.kext

- AppleALC.kext

- AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext

- AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext

- AmdTscSync.kext

- CryptexFixup.kext

- HibernationFixup.kext

- RealtekRTL8111.kext

- RestrickEvents.kext

- SMCAMDProcessor.kext

- SMCRadeonSensors.kext

- USBToolBox.kext

- UTBDefault.kext

The most crucial setting here is within the "DeviceProperties->Add" section; specifically, I need to enter the PCI root path for the storage controller:

PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x1) built-in (Type column: Data ) ( Value column: 01000000 )

which is located in the SATA 1 slot

For boot-args, I use this command:

-v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 npci=0x3000 unfairgva=1 alcid=11

Csr-acrive-config (type : Data) Value : 03080000

Will it work on the MSI A520M A Pro?

I'm trying to set up an AMD Ryzen Hackintosh on the MSI A520A Pro. Now I'm just waiting for the final result; I hope it works.

Setup:

- MSI A520A Pro

- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor

- AMD Radeon RX 570 graphics card (4GB VRAM)

- 2x 16GB Teamgroup 3200MHz RAM

- Broadcom BCM 94360CS2 Wi-Fi

- Realtek RTL8111 LAN driver

- Realtek ALC 892/ALC897 audio

Fingers crossed that it works.

Can Hackintosh be installed on the Biostar A520M motherboard?

Hi everyone, is there anyone here using the Biostar A520M for a Ryzentosh build?

Here is my hardware configuration:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G

- Motherboard: Biostar A520M

- RAM: 2x 16GB TeamGroup

- LAN: Realtek 8111

- WiFi: Broadcom BCM94260CS2 PCIe x1

- SSD: VisiPro 120GB

- Audio: Realtek?

I want to try building an OpenCore (OC) EFI and install macOS Sequoia.

I have previously successfully installed it on an MSI A520M A Pro.

Now, I’d like to ask those of you using this Biostar motherboard: is it possible to install it, and what BIOS settings do I need to apply?

Thanks.

Successfully installed Hackintosh on the MSI A520M A Pro motherboard.

I spent about three or four hours assembling the custom OpenCore EFI configuration. I finally got it working properly this morning; although I ran into some issues during installation, the process completed successfully after I moved the USB drive to a different port.

It might seem old-fashioned to use a USB selector just for a keyboard and mouse.

Hi everyone, can you guess how old it is from the object in the picture?

Here, I'm using a 4-Port USB Switch for just my computer keyboard and mouse.

So, why do I need a selector for the keyboard and mouse? The answer is because I have three computers at home, and I don't want to have multiple mice and keyboards for just three computers, or I have to unplug and plug them in if I only have one.

So, each button I press corresponds to a specific computer.

Here, I am using two 4-port USB switches: one for the keyboard and the other for the mouse.

As for the monitor, I am using just one; to share it among the computers, I use an HDMI switch to handle the three HDMI inputs.
