I recently visited the Exumas in the Bahamas. Went to the Exuma Yacht Club for dinner. There was a group of four stray cats that swarmed our table. One could barely keep his eyes open, otherwise seemed active and engaged. I worried about him for a couple of days, and then on my taxi ride back to the airport, we passed the Exuma Humane Society. I sent them a message via ‎WhatsApp telling them about the situation, where I was, and a description of the cat (should’ve taken a picture) and they said they would send a volunteer out to check on them. Fingers crossed that actually happens, but it made me feel better to actually do something.
