Home data centre ended up being used for real work so recently moved it from my garage to actual data centre. It is not the nearest I’ve ever done but every cable is labelled and tidy and I only cut one chunk out of my hand installing it. 30TB enterprise SAS SSDs, 2TB RAM and 200 CPU cores. Dual 10GB for data and 4x 1GB for app traffic. First 3 pics are it in the data centre, the next two are how it started in the garage when tidied and last two are the chaos originally for it still using consumer Ryzen chips in three of them and I think old G8 opterons and a rack of Pis. Decided to ditch the rainbow in the data centre sadly.

Installing all of this tidily I am never doing quad uplinks again straight to 25Gb + 10Gb.

Had an over 30s night yesterday so decided to go with how I would have loved to dress back when I was 16. Tripp NYC as the initial inspiration point and rest built from there. Pics 2/3 at home before heading out the colour is more accurate in first pic. Punk Rave for top harness and spikey collar and new rocks to provide blisters. Had a ball. 42… still waiting for that phase I entered in my teens to end!

Off to Download Festival this week… first time in many years of festivals that I’ve really been into properly trying to put outfits together so thought I’d share my outfits for the festival! I think my favourite is the green nu-metal inspired outfit it was so fun putting together. If anyone is at Download Festival see you in the pit! \m/

Off out for a club night in Glasgow. I’m fairly sure years ago I was told in traditional fashion before you leave the house remove one item. I’ve started working on the premise of add one… or ten… as well as a lot of Devil Fashion and Punk Rave.

Started dressing more like me a year ago this weekend… (final pic) have had so much fun in the last year finally feeling myself going out and feeling I can. I spent most of my life feeling totally unattractive, unable to look good in anything and massively anxious. Last year has been so fun discovering what my style is!
