After years of not touching a single DVD, I've had it. Streaming services don't offer nearly the same amount as DVDs did. Which is why I hope to soon get a portable DVD player and start collecting them discs as a hobby. My family can continue using streaming services all they want, but as long as they support my choice of wanting to be invested in physical media again. The feeling of actually OWNING your DVD and watching it in peace just sounds so amazing to me. It really makes me sad how everyone suddenly went "fuck you" to DVDs as soon as shit like Disney+ launched.

I already have some DVDs that I feel like collecting when I get my own portable DVD player.
