USC appeal spring grades

The USC appeal process requires submission with spring grades within 2 weeks of getting a decision.

My question is, what do we do if our spring semester doesn’t end until after these 2 weeks?

Does anyone know what constitutes a valid change to a USC application after submission?

After reading the official PDF copy of my USC application, I realized that my Additional Comments section was outdated and was not what I thought I had submitted through the Common App at the time. I was wondering if anyone knows whether USC would allow a clarification after submission, even though it is quite late.

On their website, they state: “If you have already submitted your application and need to make changes, you can email your admission counselor with the subject ‘Changes to Application.’ Please use the same email address you used in your application for these requests.”

However, some anecdotes I’ve seen on Reddit suggest that they have guidelines for what this includes. Most of those posts say that USC does not consider new accomplishments meant to supplement an application because it would not be fair to other students who applied.

So I was wondering if anyone knows anything about USC’s policy for making clarifications to an existing application, rather than adding new information.

Thanks😭
