Title. I heard this has happened at Harvard and Stanford so far. Apparently, they have been inviting people to dinner and giving them internships without even an interview. I have no clue how many other schools they have been to. Honestly, I did not expect this kind of behavior from one of the best and most prestigious companies in the world. Same with Optiver.

Title. Why are many people considering the process to be abnormal now? What has changed and what skills are more valued compared to the past? If they are indeed different, is that a good thing?

Has anyone started it yet? Seems like decent amount of places are already open for 2027 grads. Would be great if you could share resources.
