Why is homosexuality hated so much more than other sins of the same nature?
From my understanding, same-sex intercourse is a sin because, by nature, it can not produce a child. Any sexual activity without the purpose of producing a child is a sin, including the use of contraception, masturbation, anal/oral sex, etc. I've seen so many Christians show incredible disgust and hatred for homosexuality yet excuse and/or participate in sins of the exact same nature I listed above. Why is this?
Also, wouldn't homosexuality not be a sin because being homosexual doesn't mean you must participate in same-sex intercourse, just that you are attracted to people of the same gender?
Also, wouldn't it be a sin for someone who is incapable of producing a child to perform any kind of sexual act?
