Hi everyone,

I’m a 2025 BTech graduate in AI & Data Science from India, currently based in the UAE and looking for internship opportunities in AI, data science, machine learning, or software/IT roles.

I mainly want to gain real-world experience and improve my skills, so even unpaid internships are completely fine for me. As a fresher, breaking into the industry has been difficult, and I’m trying to build my career here in the UAE long term.

If anyone knows of openings, startups hiring interns, or has any advice/referrals, I’d really appreciate it.

Hi everyone,

I graduated in 2025 with a BTech in AI & Data Science from India and I’m currently in Dubai with my family. Going back to India isn’t really an option for me right now since my family is based here.

I’ve been trying to find entry-level jobs/internships related to AI, data science, software, analytics, or even general IT roles, but it’s been difficult because most openings seem to ask for experience.

One of the biggest things I’m trying to figure out right now is whether doing a Master’s degree in the UAE would actually improve my chances of getting hired here long-term, since building my career in the UAE is very important to me.

I wanted to ask people who already work in the UAE tech industry:

• How do fresh graduates usually get their first job here?
• Are internships/common walk-ins/networking more effective than applying online?
• Which websites or platforms actually work in the UAE market?
• Would a UAE Master’s degree genuinely help with employability and networking, or should I focus more on projects/certifications/work experience?
• Are there specific skills/certifications that companies here value for freshers?

I’m open to honest advice and would really appreciate hearing from people who started their careers in the UAE as fresh graduates
