Trying to get Ethernet ports in new apartment to work
Hello all. I have just set up wifi in my new apartment but I would like to get the Ethernet ports around it working. The modem I am using is not connected to the panel right now, but I understand how to set it up in here.
What piques my curiosity is that there was a loose Ethernet cable inside the panel, connected to the apartment-provided modem (which I am not using) on one end but nothing on the other. I do not see any Ethernet ports around the panel. Just a fiber port. Could it be that that bundle of cut wires held it?
