lymph node swollen
hi! im a 25 yo female (5’1 135 lb).
I’ve had this swollen (what i think is) lymph node since february of 2026. it’s mobile, nontender, not super squishy but not super firm. it hasn’t gotten bigger since march but definitely hasn’t gone down.
i have no cold symptoms and haven’t in the last month or so. i have no other symptoms (no fatigue no night sweats no fever or anything of that nature).
i am a picu nurse so i did have our fellow ultrasound it and it had a fatty hilum but did have some fluid in it she said.
obviously when i do an online search the only thing that comes up is cancer but nobody posts on tiktok about a benign lymph node
would love some insight on the odds of this being benign? i have a virtual PCP appointment this week and just want some advice on what work up to advocate for to rule out anything? also any advice on how to fix it if it is benign.
