Hi, I’m an adult with scoliosis.
I was diagnosed at 8 and wore braces for almost 10 years (Milwaukee, Chêneau, Boston).

Looking back, I realised the hardest part wasn’t just physical — it was feeling alone, uncomfortable, and not really understood.

So I started building a small app to support people going through it now.
It’s not just medical — more like a companion for hard days:

  • tracking brace wear & discomfort
  • a “hard day” button for when it hurts physically or emotionally
  • a space to vent / journal
  • small encouragement moments
  • export with the pain points for the orthotist
  • possibility to share your brace wear and pain trends with a parent if you want

I’m now at the stage where the app is in beta testing on both ios and android (which means is not open to the public yet), and I’d love to get feedback from people who actually understand what this feels like.

No pressure to use it a lot — just install and share any thoughts if you have them.

If you’re interested, comment or DM me and I’ll send the link
