When yin and yang fall out of balance, the universe spills its harmony into chaos. Humanity suffers under demonic torment, blood and ruin everywhere. The archangel Uriel descends, wielding a holy sword wrapped in blazing golden fire, slaughtering the hordes, devouring phantoms, purging the filth of heaven and earth, seeking unity among all faiths.
Hail Almighty Uriel, Light Bringer of Perdition and Purgatory.
Sacrificial of Uriel carves out a unique sonic experience in the black metal realm. Their foundation lies in the raw ferocity of old-school black metal, reinforced by layers of diverse influences: the mournful atmosphere of suicidal/atmospheric black, the savage black/death traditions of Scandinavia, and the elusive, avant-garde progressions that defy easy comprehension.
