Hey all first time posting to Reddit

I have just moved into a house and after a few months I believe my neighbour has Japanese knotweed

Absolutely terrified at what it means as have heard so many horror stories

I was wondering what the next step should be , my neighbours are not too nice and I don’t know if they will take it seriously but I plan on approaching them today

Also the level 3 survey did not pick up on this at all which is annoying, should I be filing a complaint with them ?

The back of our houses is a wall that is owned by a nursery, should I notify them as the weed is growing on their wall.
