This guy is a talented installer, but he hasn't done more than a couple installs over electric radiant heat. He uses typically uses Wedi, but probably would be open to any other system. The plan was to use one of the roll out mat system on top of the Wedi board, then self leveler over the heating wire, and tile on top of the self leveling. But... what about the shower floor? You obviously can't use SLC in a Wedi shower pan. So how would he get the wire buried on top of the Wedi pan? And finally... to complicate matters, we're using a small basketweave mosaic floor tile in the shower and the main floor. Any suggestions here for the best plan of attack?
