Hi!
This morning I received an email saying my pre settle status has been extended for five more years, due to not having enough information to grant me the settle status. I had to move back to Spain during COVID so I am confused, to be honest. I want to visit my friends and family living there, but I’m afraid I’ll get stopped at the e-gates or something if they notice I haven’t lived in the UK for so long despite having a pre-settle status.
How should I proceed from now on? I had been fully expecting to lose my pre settle status, and I was even planning on starting university in Spain leaving my started degree in the UK (it’s a whole story, but my studies aren’t recognised in Spain). Now I’m even wondering whether I should move back and finish university!
