Backend engineer (~3.5 YOE, 2023 grad, Tier ~1.5).

Current comp ( Mid Sized Startup , SDE-1 , Bangalore) :
17.25 LPA Base + 1L bonus(Joining) + ~12L ESOPs (4 yrs, private)

Got SDE-2 offer :
26.8 LPA Base + 2.68 variable + 3L joining
32.48 LPA (1st year)
Location: Bangalore

Expected ~30+ base, but HR seems rigid about the budget . Also expecting appraisal/promotion soon here.

Should I try negotiating further or wait and continue interviewing?
This would be my second switch, so I’m also looking for a relatively stable place where I can stay longer.
What’s the best way to negotiate this offer further, especially on the base component?
