They say time is priceless…

Some love to watch their babies grow, some collect, sell and sometimes trade.

I came across a marketplace listing and still can’t believe my eyes. (The picture is not mine but from the listing.)I wont mention the price here but this peaked my curiosity.

What do you do when you have a full grown Hoya? I’ve seen many sell and start over or cut to sell or trade. Rarity is a big influence too.

What would you pay for this?

What would you do with it? Share and spread the love or enjoy it for yourself?

When does the time and effort of growth justify the price?

Do you purchase only cuttings or small plants to care for and watch grow?

While I find myself battling what may be the verge of a Hoya addiction. 😅 Just looking for thoughts and opinions/ discussion… no judgements!

Pretty Princess - Long Hair, Don’t Care!

Her hair was done and up tighter than I realized. I attempted to untangled to get a up close inspection and after a 45 min wrestle she gave in and loosened up and let her hair down.

I had NO IDEA how big she actually is.
She’s a big girl! Currently relaxing in quarantine.

How can I help her? Trellis? Keep hanging? As she loosens the top it seems like the new growth might not be getting enough light because it was so packed.

I need to change out the soil, should I up-pot? (Currently in a 3 qt) Split her up?
