I’m really loving how the bud structure is shaping up on my 505 Headbanger. Mephisto wasn’t kidding about this strain being a heavy producer. She’s looking like she might end up being my biggest haul yet. Dense, evenly sized buds are stacked all the way up and down the stems, barely leaving any room to see the branches underneath. She’s about a week away from the chop now and finishing beautifully.

Trichomes are starting to color up, so I'm expecting harvest in about a week or so.

Buds are small but numerous per stem, definitely an interesting bud structure on this one.

Day 40 Flower | Day 66 From Seed 🌱
Strains: Guava Fig & 505 Headbanger

Previous Day 23 post here

Still running Jack’s 3-2-1 with GH supplements + Great White bennies. Both ladies are cruising along nicely and really starting to show their personalities now.

Guava Fig:
She’s developed medium-sized pom-pom looking buds that cluster around the primary tops. Absolutely intense frost from head to toe, definitely seeing the Double Grape influence come through strong here. Even this far along, she’s still drinking like she has a few weeks left, so I’m expecting some additional swelling before the finish line.

Trichome rub starts with a very sweet grape upfront and fades into a dank gassy/earthy backend 🍇⛽

505 Headbanger:
Very evenly sized colas throughout the canopy with consistent node spacing that’s now giving way to some larger stacked flowers. She’s filling in beautifully and looks like she’s going to yield extremely well.

The terp profile surprised me a bit, getting sweet pear notes upfront with a gas/rubber-like finish. Definitely leaning sweeter than I expected, so this pheno should be an absolute treat 🍐🔥

Really happy with how both are progressing at this stage. Frost is building daily, and the tent smells incredible every time I open it.

Day 23 Flower | Day 52 From Seed
Strains: Guava Fig & 505 Headbanger

Humidity sitting around 45–50%, DLI ~50. Running 5-gal bucket DWC with Jack’s 3-2-1, GH supplements, and Great White bennies.

Guava Fig:
Short but stout with tops around 13" (33cm) and most of the canopy closer to 11.5" (22cm). Super thick branches and tight bud sites. Frost is stacking nicely already, and she’s putting off a pungent sweet/earthy smell on leaf rub. She's definitely the chunkier, more compact plant of the two.

505 Headbanger:
Way taller and lankier in comparison with tops hitting 26" (66cm) and the rest of the canopy around 23" (58cm). Wider node spacing, but starting to stack some pretty large flowers. Not quite as frosty as the Guava Fig yet, but trichs are showing up even on the 5-finger fan leaves. Smell is a sour upfront with a diesel/gas finish. She’s looking like she could be a heavy producer.

Overall, both are progressing nicely at this stage. Curious to see how they compare by harvest.
