Proof of 2 first names being a struggle

Hi :)

I hope this post is ok.

I'm currently preparing for the COE and spousal visa application and before i want to actually hand in anything i i want to legally change my name from (name1) (name2) (difficult last name) to (name 2) (japanese husbands surname).

Now my husband and I've been married for over 1 year and I've never identified with my first name anyways and have exclusively used my second name so it's really not something that's a though decision for me, especially considering the amount of people that have urged me to absolutely change my name to only 1 first name (and the Japanese surname) before getting a visa because from my understanding having 2 first names and the adding up to over 10 letters is a struggle.

I'm currently still living in Germany with my husband and changing your name here is only possible with good reasoning and visual proof, i have already applied for the name change and I've been pre approved to submit my official request however to do so they require proof and that's where i will need some help to find concrete websites/ forms or other proof that shows that having 2 first names makes things difficult.

My husband is obviously trying to help but he himself never had to think about anything regarding 2 first names nor a long first name before and has been living outside of Japan for 5 years with me so he doesn't really know where to look either but will absolutely do the looking if someone points us in the right direction.

i have also tried asking my MIL to possibly take some pictures of forms that show the character limitations but she's over 60 years old and hasn't really grasped what i need + also thinks it's much better to have 2 first names because it's so "special"....

Changing my surname is really easy but ideally i want to change my first and last name at the same time to safe time and money in the process.

Please help me or point me in the right direction so i can have one leas struggle when we'll move begging of 2027 :)
