Dislocated my kneecap twice in the past ~10 years and now something keeps coming loose?
I wanna keep this short and sweet, I'm a morbidly obese man with a grade 3 MCL sprain. MCL has been damaged since 2024, doctors told me basically there's no point in repairing the ligament with surgery. The grooves where my kneecap sits is completely flat so it's as if it's just floating in there. Has been manageable for the most part, with some aches and pains here and there. But now, I think I'm feeling my meniscus slip out of place? Sometimes when i bend my knee after i sit down, when I'm walking, it'll feel like something to got caught and pinched in between my bones, and I have to physically push it back into place. It happens on both sides on my kneecap so I'm hoping for some advice? I do have an appointment set up with a knee specialist but if there's something out there that can help me out until then, I'm willing to try!
