Will my car insurance go up?

A pebble hit my rental car. Alamo charging us $1350. We didn't get insurance and our credit card won't cover.

Should we just pay out of pocket, or should I file the claim with my car insurance provider (Allstate)? I just worry that I'll make my car insurance increase so maybe I should not claim it and just pay out of pocket instead.

I've never been in an accident and never had windshield damage before so this is all new to me. To clarify, there was no car accident, a pebble hit the windshield and produced a small crack on the rental which either I should pay for, or Allstate. In the long run maybe it is better to cover the $1350 and call it a day. Can someone please advise?
