Itinerary Thoughts

Hey everyone! I’ll be traveling to Italy from June 24th to July 3rd and wanted some thought on the itinerary we put together.

Rome (Days 1-3):
• Day 1: Arrive and explore iconic spots like the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain before enjoying dinner in a local
Trattoria.

• Day 2: Visit the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona

• Day 3: Explore Vatican City, including the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, and Castel Sant'Angelo.

Florence (Days 4-6):
• Day 4: Travel by high-speed train to Florence. Visit the Duomo, Baptistery of St. John, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Ponte Vecchio.

• Day 5: Enjoy a day trip to the Tuscan countryside, such as San Gimignano, Siena, or a wine tour.

• Day 6: Explore cultural treasures like the Uffizi or
Accademia Gallery, relax in the Boboli Gardens, and catch the sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo.

Naples (Days 7-9):
• Day 7: Travel by high-speed train to Naples. Walk through the historic Spaccanapoli district, visit the Sansevero Chapel to see the Veiled Christ, and enjoy an authentic Neapolitan pizza in the city where it was born.

• Day 8: Take the short train ride to Pompeii to explore the vast ruins of the ancient city buried by Vesuvius. In the afternoon, visit the Naples National Archaeological Museum to see the original frescoes and artifacts recovered from the site.

• Day 9: Visit the ruins of Herculaneum. Afterward, take a shuttle to the summit of Mount Vesuvius for a hike to the crater and views over the Bay of Naples.

I just found out I have a peanut allergy in my 30s. I’ve never had a severe reaction and have eaten peanut butter and peanuts occasional throughout my life. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Sony has reportedly implemented a new Digital Rights Management (DRM) system on the PlayStation 5 that requires digital game owners to validate their licenses online periodically. According to research from the ResetEra forums, this system appears to be a targeted countermeasure against a refund exploit where users purchase a game, download it, and then request a refund while continuing to play the title in offline mode. For the first 14 days following a purchase—matching Sony's standard refund window—the system issues short-term 30-day licenses that require an internet check-in; however, once the refund period expires and the license is validated, the restriction is lifted to allow for standard offline play. While this strategy aims to curb fraudulent activity, it has sparked criticism regarding the lack of transparency for consumers and potential issues for players with limited internet access during that initial two-week period.
