Veteran of Tarsonis - Marauders are painted!

Here’s another 500 points added to my army!

By now the real color scheme is starting to show: the black‑and‑red combo. This wasn’t fully in place with the Medics yet, and I even got a comment saying the red didn’t quite work with the desert bases, but I think it’s clear here that the idea does come together.

I’ll admit, I never liked the Marauder. Replacing the Firebat, seriously?! A metal balloon that fires rockets and sprints around in a goofy way after a shot of stimpack. I didn’t like it then, still don’t, but maybe pushing it around on the tabletop will change my mind. One thing’s for sure: the miniature itself is beautifully sculpted, and I think this Tarsonis‑veteran vibe suits it really well from a painting standpoint.

And if you ever feel like diving into StarCraft yourself but don’t feel like painting, I do take commission work too! 😉

Terran Medics Done!

Here’s circa 250 points’ worth of pacifist Terrans or lets say in other words, two full squads of Medics are finally done. :)

I figured I’d start with the hard part: white armor, transparent effects, testing the color scheme, figuring out the base. Add a little airbrush misbehaving on top, and I’m definitely not gonna tell how many hours went into these.

But!

The concept works. I know what I want to do with the reds, the transparent elements, and the ruined desert bases. Every minute was worth it. The rest will be much easier from here. :)

Also, I do take commission work too! ;)
